The bestselling author of INTO THE WILDERNESS, DAWN ON A DISTANT SHORE, LAKE IN THE CLOUDS and FIRE ALONG THE SKY, Sara Donati also writes as Rosina Lippi. Under that name her literary novel HOMESTEAD won the Pen/Hemingway Award in 1998 and was shortlisted for the prestigious Orange Prize. She lives in the Pacific Northwest.
