James Carter is a trained primary teacher with an MA in Children's Literature, a writer for Literacy and Learning magazine and a part-time lecturer on creative writing and children's literature at Reading University. He regularly gives readings and performances in schools, libraries, bookshops and at festivals, often with the aid of his very own electric guitar. His poems have been included in over 30 different children's anthologies, although this is his first collection.
