Angela Throgmorton has decided it is high time that Old Tom began to help around the house. But just as she hands him a list of chores, he is struck down by a sudden illness, leaving him too sick to help! While Old Tom reclines in bed, Angela dusts and wipes and mops and bakes. But where did that freshly baked cake go? And who is that black-caped figure disappearing into the night?
