The reader is taken on a tour of a charmingly off-beat house, trying to show that the only thing strange about this house is that there is a Hoppleplop living there. Each spread shows a room with a strange creature going about its business, but each differs form the Hoppleplop in some way. Each right-hand page features a door leading to the next room to be visited. Eventually a tiny wee creature is found hidden in an eggcup in the kitchen. It features all the attributes of the other creature plus its own individual characteristics - and it is fast asleep. This is Kyle Mewburn's first published work. Illustrated by Deborah Hinde who also illustrated "A Kiwi Night Before Christmas".
