Lydia Monks gained a First Class degree in illustration from Kingston University and had gone on to become one of the best-loved illustrators today. She has written and illustrated several other picture books for Egmont, including Aaaaarrrgghh, Spider, I Wish I Were A Dog and No More EEE-Orrgh!. Lydia lives in Sheffield with her young family.
