Reading age6-9 years. The storyteller, Troy the Tuatara, is painting a family portrait when Uncle Larry wanders off. Throughout the story we follow Troy as he links up with his family members their search for Larry. On the pages following the story, as Troy moves through each era (Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous) the reader is encouraged to find the family members hidden in the pages. A glossary contains intimate details of each dinosaur including a pronunciation guide, the relative size and whether it was herbivore or carnivore.
