Description

Author description

Anthony Masters is an extremely successful children's book writer with many titles to his credit. These include Bullies Don't Hurt (Viking/Puffin) which was recently Waterstone's Book of The Month, Wicked (Orchard) and Ghost Blades (Mammoth) which were selected by The Book Trust for their 100 best books 1998 edition. Anthony frequently works in schools and with groups of children, and is well-known for his 'Book Explosions', hugely popular workshops combining drama with reading. He lives in East Sussex. Chris Fisher is a favourite illustrator of children's books. His titles include Nonsense Nursery Rhymes, which won the Gold Award in the Play and Learn Awards and Snowdragon, which was nominated for the Kate Greenaway Award. Hammy House of Horror was highly commended in the Sheffield Children's Book Award. Chris Fisher lives in Bristol.
