Jonathan Emmett gave up architecture in 1995 to pursue a career as a writer and illustrator, and has since had several titles published including "No Place Like Home". He lives in Nottingham with his family. Vanessa Cabban studied illustration at Brighton University and the Royal College of Art. She has illustrated several picture books, including the bestselling "Dear Tooth Fairy". She lives in Northumberland.
