Author description

Deborah Ellis works as a counselor in a group home in Toronto. Her first children's book, Looking for X, won the Canadian Governor General's Award for Children's Literature. Deborah has been to Afghan refugee camps and heard many stories like Shauzia's. The royalties from this book will be donated to Street Kids International.
