Clare Oliver: Clare is a writer and editor of children's non-fiction, writing across a broad range of subjects. Her many books include two titles in the Heinmann series '20th Century Art'. She has degree in English from Oxford University. She lives in London. Jill A Laidlaw: Until recently Jill has been living with her husband and son in Singapore where she worked as a full-time editor. She now lives in Scotland. Her most recent work includes material for the National Museum, 'Jakata and River Road to China: the Search for the Source of the Mekong, 1866-73'. She has worked for a number of London childrens publishers on a wide range of subjects including ancient history and exploration. She has an Masters Degree in Art History.
