Devil Danger (Extreme Adventures)

Author(s): Justin D'Ath

Fiction - middle

Sam Fox is on a skiing trip to compete in the Devil's Run Skiing Championships in Tasmania, when a baby falls out of a cable car overhead. The baby is Crown Prince Thomas, four-month-old son of European Princess Monica, and the fall is a result of a bungled kidnap attempt. Sam catches the baby (saving it from certain death) and is chased by the kidnappers. After various escapes and explosions, he is captured and taken to their hideout - an abandoned sawmill in isolated forest - where Prince Thomas's life is in his hands! Not only that, he must act as the pick-up for the million-dollar ransom at a footy match in Hobart, where he's picked on by school bullies! Only Sam's ingenuity and derring-do can get them out of this alive.
