The author, Terry Clayton, a former elementary school teacher from Canada, has lived and worked in Thailand since 1989. Teacher, consultant and writer, Terry lives on a farm in north-east Thailand. The consultant, Ian Elgie, is a geographer with wide experience of teaching at universities and colleges in South-east Asia. Currently he is Head of Geography and World Development Studies at Park College, Eastbourne.
